History

Olivet Baptist High School, Oyo, Nigeria (formerly Baptist Boys High School, Oyo) was founded by the Southern Baptist Mission (Southern Baptist Convention of America) on 29th January 1945…on its original site – the premises of the old Baptist mission house at Oke-Isokun, Oyo, Oyo State, where Rev. Samuel George Pinnock, the first Baptist missionary to the ancient empire of Oyo established a mission post.
